Do you ever pay attention to how many clicks it takes you to get to your favorite app? 🤔How many clicks does it take you to get to your search engine?🤨 It’s OK if you don’t know…neither did I for a long time. Hell, even if you think you know, you probably don’t, unless you’ve actually counted the clicks before. Or you’re Sherlock 🔍 Holmes–in which case I’ve embedded an ultra-hard-mega-complex-riddle in the source code of this website (solve at your peril)🤐. I digress, my point is I used to think I was able to get to a net search in only 2 clicks. Then I started counting…turn on my phone 1 click, enter my password 6 clicks, 2 clicks to find 🦆DuckDuckGo (if I can right away), the final click to open the app. As long as everything is setup property and random stuff doesn’t pop up, that’s the final click to start my net search. That’s a lot more than 2 clicks; 10(ish) clicks in total.🤓 10 clicks you say–no big deal right!? I’d agree, if I only used DuckDuckGo once a day; I use DuckDuckGo dozens of times a day minimum; It’s fun to write DuckDuckGo. 😂

Anyways…those extra 8 clicks add up fast in time and effort. My poor😔 index finger slaves away for my endless selfish cat😽 video searches. The point: I’ve spent tons of time in my life just trying to GET TO STUFF, apps or otherwise. Now I do everything possible to streamline🤓 my life so I can get to whatever I’m trying to do as quick as possible. Learning how to save even a few clicks on the regular will make a big difference over time. More clicks or more cute cat videos? 🤔 You choose
