I go there with a light to dark times
Sparking a little greater understanding
One can do a lot with history known
Not a mystery
Knowing where you come from is a powerful thing
It doesn’t have to hold you chained
It can give you wings
Minstrels sing of a golden day
All rejoice and play

We come from different times
Different circumstance
(Potentially different crimes)
Boomers could have gone to jail for being a communist
Millennials could have gone to jail for weed
And Zoomers…could be cancelled
It’s a funny word “cancelled”
Like we all have big shows🎭
Ever present danger of them ending
Just cuz somebody got offended
I worry about that
1st amendment and all that…
If we can’t talk to each other, try things
Speak truth
How can we move forward together?
Especially in bad weather
The weather is bad–could be better
